Once most of the detail has
been added to the face and
arms, in this case I've gone
on to add the hair, hat and
shirt. I've deliberately left the
shirt detail very lose. The
focal point of this portrait
needs to be the eye and I do
not want the viewer to be
over run by too much detail
in the rest of the picture.
